It does not denote the operational horsepower output of a wet-dry vac, but rather the horsepower output of a motor, including the motor's inertial contribution, achieved in laboratory testing. In actual use, motors do not operate at the peak horsepower shown.‡

The CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute), Water Lift, and Air Watts are tested to ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) standard at the end of the included hose. The product includes one standard cartridge filter and one filter retainer.

This product is suitable for standard vacs, excluding the portable jobsite, household, and wall-mountable models. It is used to clean up everyday dirt, such as general dirt and debris. DO NOT use the cartridge filter for liquid vacuuming.

The product fits Standard Vacmater Wet/Dry Vacuum Cleaners with a 5 to 20 Gallon capacity. To make the filter last longer, clean the cartridge filter by gently tapping or brushing off the dirt. DO NOT clean it with water.

DO NOT vacuum drywall dust, fireplace soot, or ash with the standard Dry filter. This is a very fine dust that will not be captured by the filter and may cause damage to the motor.
