Automatic Vacuum Switch for Power Tools and Table Saws

The AVS2000 Switch Box is designed to be used in conjunction with a power tool, such as a table saw, router, or sander, and an associated vacuum or dust collection system rated at 15 Amps or less. The unit features two AC receptacles: one for Tool Power and one for Vacuum Power, as well as a user-controlled Mode Switch.

The Tool Power receptacle is used to provide power to the power tool being used, while the Vacuum Power receptacle is used to power the vacuum system. The Mode Switch allows the user to determine the operation mode of the vacuum system.

The device is constructed with a durable PC+ABS V0 grade flame retardant material case and comes equipped with a 19-inch (0.5-meter) American Standard 14AWG power cord. The Tool Power and Vacuum Power Ratings are both 15 Amp, 120 VAC, 60 Hz.

The AVS2000 Switch Box features an Actuation Threshold of approximately 0.25 Amps (about 30W at 125V), which triggers the automatic operation of the device. To use the AVS2000, follow these steps:

1. Plug the unit into a standard 15A/120V outlet and set the Mode Switch to the AUTO position.
2. Plug the vacuum into the VAC OUTLET and switch on the vacuum.
3. Plug the tool into the TOOL OUTLET and use the power tool as normal.

When the tool is powered on, the vacuum will automatically start after a 1-second delay. When the tool is powered off, the vacuum will continue running for an additional 7 seconds to clear out the hose.

It is important to note that the maximum motor rating should not exceed 120V/15A 50/60Hz, 1875W, and the vacuum motor HP should not exceed 1875W.
